Technical Busted front spring

On the way home today the front o/s/f spring snapped.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a pair of replacements, not bothered about them being genuine fiat ones.
There was talk of the corsa d ones being compatable has this been confirmed?, they seem to be a lot cheaper

Are they the same? as i'm not sure about the spring rating as they use a different engine.

I'm not sure, but it's worth looking into, they might well be cheaper.

Yes i have seen them, but i'm a bit dubious about them as to origin and quality.
In any case, i phoned fiat and a pair of springs fitted is £395.00,and my local garage quoted £350.00 using genuine fiat springs, he said he rang around for after market ones but no supplier can get them.

both them quotes seem way too much, spring compressors dont cost a lot, get some and do it yourself

If you go on Euro Car Parts they have Sachs front springs for £71.94 each but if you add code 30NOW at checkout, they come down to £50.36 each inc VAT. Part No. 627586370

I've bought stuff on click & collect and they're very good.

Sounds like a good enough reason to lower it! If you're gonna change 1 spring, uyou may as well change all 4!

I'm tempted,BUT it hasn't been confirmed that this is possible with the corsa set up, the thing is the van does work for a living and anything done has to be done asap.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but how was this resolved?
The same spring snapped on mine this afternoon so looking to get it fixed asap.
Did anyone find out about lowering springs? Would be up for that if it is an affordable option.

got 2 front springs £55 the pair they are not handed
I got the longer set so a bit more body height
just got to fit them now
and around 2 hrs to fit
