Hi,

Ive been trying all day to get the rear bumper off my Cinq (to replace the bumper brackets and give it a good clean/under seal) - but cant undo any of the 'lower' bolts (not he ones inside the boot, they are fine) - they are turning OK, but the square opposite end is just turning with hem and I can seem to get a grip on this end to stop it.

I'm worried about applying heat to the nut end as the square end seems to be held in the plastic bumper and I don't want to risk melting it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Thanks for the replies.

So, do I just need to loosen (and not fully remove) the lower and outer nuts then and just completely remove the 3 actually inside the boot itself?

If this is the case, do the lower and outer ones just slide out or something once they have been loosened??

Hope you can make sense of my question?

Cheers.
