Numerous headlight bulb changes have taken their toll on the nuts and bolts associated with holding the front bumper on.

I have looked on ePer at the nuts and bolts i need and the part numbers. Does anyone know if Fiat stock a collection of nuts and bolts needed for the bumper, save buying 10 of each one?

I also need the pads that attach to the wings that the bolts fit into.

Thanks in advanced! :worship:

Should do a complete front bumper fixing kit which will include a replacement of everything (y)

Just called me back, For all the nuts and bolts associated with holding the front bumper on, £40.
He must have misunderstood what i need, surely?!
I definitely need to go in with a ePER print out!

Spoke with Fiat Sturgess... Gotta buy each separately! Kill me now!

I'd be very surprised and sounds like another parts monkey who doesn't know what they're doing. For the mk3 Panda you can buy a bumper fixing kit, as well as headlight bracket kit, you can also get headlight bracket kit for Stilo so would be very surprised if you can't get bumper fixing kit also - its designed so if its been front ended and everything replaced you've all new mounting bits also.

I would have thought due to the fantastic design associated with the headlight bulbs and such that the fitting kit would prove a popular item.

I might just go to a nut and bolt trade center place and see if i can get some off the shelf - the only issue is the plastic pad the bolt screws into on the wing (through the wheel arch)

that plastic pad you can probably use something else, most of the front end has rivnuts, so you could just use rivnuts instead of the plastic pad thing (maybe)

Yeh i was thinking that, I think I will just buy a nut to go through and a washer.

Went to get car from over the road today, car has been keyed from headlight all the way down to the tail light on the drivers side... can this get worse!?

Sorry to bring an old thread up.

i have got to change my headlight (adjusters snapped out before i got it), its on order. my bumper where it attaches to the bottom of the wing is loose anyway. i thought i could just remove bumper/old light unit replace and refit the bumper.

What are these pads and headlight bracket kit? also has anyone else used there own bolts. as the bottom bumper bolts are m6?, and just nyloc and bolt the bumper back where it meets the bottom of the wing?

never took one of before.

Paul

I used my own m6 bolts dude, I ordered loads form japan, password JDM, stainless steel m6 with anodised red counter sunk washer. I replaced all the top bolts on the bumper including the headlight bolts and all the bolts on the rear bumper too. and I got packs of 8 for around £7 delivered.

You will find that the bumper to wing fixing consists of a plastic rivnut type fixing for the bolt closes to the wheel, the next one along as has a captive type nut, mine snapped there, so i bought a rivnut tool and took teh old captiv nut off and put a stainless steel rivnut fixing there, and bolted a m6 to it. doesn't take a long. i also had a bolt snap on the headlight slampanel bolt. I drilled that out and re-tapped it and bolted a m6 up to that. doesn't take long :)
