After five days of dry weather, I have decided that Spring is here and the hard top is back in the loft. Took the B for a blast into Northumberland with my son who took these pics on his phone. The car may have one or two health issues, just like its owner, but what a great way to spend a Sunday Morning.

Spotted a nice blue Barchetta heading south on The A1 in Northumberland this morning. This is the first one I have seen since getting mine in May last year. I have had an invite from Stevo Gee to the Spring Run on 17th April. Is anyone planning to go to this. I am going to try but depends on circumstances.

I will be there ,Steve put`s a lot of effort into these day`s out and should not be missed. If you go we could meet in Edinburgh and follow to Stirling servces.

I've signed up for the Spring Drive. Mind, with gale force winds and blizzards forecast today, I may have been slightly rash in removing the hardtop. I'm off skiing to Valle D' Aosta, Italy, next week so I will make some arrangements afterwards Ricky. Meanwhile, the B needs to be taxed and I still havent bought 'er indoors' a Creme Egg yet. I am planning to take my hardtop off this weekend. good to see your going on the spring run Steve we will meet somewhere i stay close to hermiston gate on the bypass just a thought, enjoy your winter break and keep in touch for the 17th.

Had a brilliant week in Aosta. Despite keeping a careful lookout, I didnt see a single Barchetta. Had the top down today for a brief run to Berwick Upon Tweed and even managed to fit an original radio cassette that a purchased off Ebay for £6 a while ago. I'm still up for the Spring Drive and looking forward to meeting up with Ricky at Edinburgh on Saturday.

Clarion Radio/Cassette all fitted. Although bought without a code, it wasn't required and was a ten minute plug and play job.

I have the original stereo in the cupboard doing nothing , anyway what time do you want to meet on saturday, how does 9.40 at hermiston gait sound in the carpark where curry`s and halfords is.

I bought a new stereo / dash panel, fitted it and it looked gash...so fitted the original back in..B isn't a great car for HD audio anyway.

Looks like Herself's polo will get a stereo worth more than the car its fitted in...

Yeah great day out thanks to Stephen for planning the day and the route and everyone who took part in the day, I should have missed the last stop aswell as someone reversed into my car i am gutted but accidents happen, here is a few of my photos.I now have a fiat Bashetta.
