General Bulb check warning

The bulb warning light has been on for ages, it temporarily goes off if i take of with low revs, or flash main beam, and it intermits on and off when using hazards.

How can i solve this it is soooo distracting. I have check all bulbs incase they have blown and they seem fine.

Sounds like either a duff/dying battery or alternator... -- or, more likely, a faulty earth connection, somewhere.... I'd start by checking the battery and alternator output with a multimeter.... :idea:

Get an assistant to put the lights on at night - and look at the lights

They should be bright and clear

If they go dull or flash when other rear lights are turned on / off - you've got a earting fault, most likely on that cluster

I'd be tempted to say yes check voltage output from alternator

but i'd be tempted to say give the bulbs there socket and connectors a darn good clean
Some fine wire wool may help here and minor sand paper
