Technical bulb change

hiya all
Can anyone help please,the number plate bulb has blown and i cant see how to change it!i assume its a pressure fit but looks very fragile and i dont want to have a go prising it out with a screwdriver and break it ! does anyone have any experience with this

Suggest, since posted in the Multipla thread, a Multipla?

To remove the numberplate lamp, insert a small bladed screwdriver under the little lip at the RH end of the clear plastic cover (there's a little recess there) and gently lever the cover off (you might choose to put a soft rag between the driver and the tailgate trim to prevent this being marked as you lever the screwdriver). The whole lamp can be pulled away and the bulb pulled out. (This is described, with pictures, in the instruction book)
