i disagree.
its an issue with the mobile browser on your phone, that a lot of websites have as well.
ive got loads of websites that direct directly to the www address instead of the m site after ive told it to go to the main site. its the storage of cookies and preferances on your mobile.
best fix, m.fiatforum.com or clear your mobile browser cookies
You're missing the point.
It's fine that the site redirects you to the mobile site when you go there on a mobile device - that makes good sense.
The point is that there is a link you can click to get to the desktop site from there.
Once you've done that once, you will always see the desktop site on your phone - the mobile redirect is over-ridden by a cookie.
The choice of phone and browser is irrelevant - it's a value stored in a cookie, so will affect any mobile browser the same way.
Yes, manually typing m.fiatforum.com will fix it, but I didn't know that, nor will 99% of people who find themselves with this issue.
Clearing the cookies will fix it to, as I mentioned at the time, but that's a ballache to do just to reset a site skin.
If there is a clear link to change the preference one way, there should be a clear link to change it back the other way too.
