So, Ive had my wheels painted white (BMW Mini white) and i think she looks lush but what do you think? Wasn't sure it would work but I'm well happy with her (waits for H to vomit ;))

I have to say I'm quite ambivalent on them. IMO they look wayyyyyyyyyyyy better than silver and white wheels do look good on a 'flat' coloured car, such as yours :) But I'm not sure - might black be better? Or even black with yellow rim?

I did have them photoshopped black and anthracite and shadow chrome but they all looked like I'd lost the wheels. I've always been in two minds on black and after shopping was convinced I didn't want them so went for white. Was well pleased.

Yup thats what i thought would happen dark wheel just disapear into the arches. The first time i saw that pic i thought they were brilliant silver, then looked again and they were white, makes them a bit different but still in keeping with the cars subtle looks. (y)

I would have thought black with yellow, but this works fine, and you are right that Black might just vanish in the wheel arches. This is an area you need to give some thought to. The original alunimium colour grey-ish wires looked awful on my BRG MGB, but resprayed in silver they look OK.(well more than OK but I don't want to boast). I guess with broom yellow it's hard for the wheels to upstage the car!

It all depends on the wheel design and the car that they're on.

The off-white goes well on the HGTs wheel design. They dont lend themselves to dark colours very well (just got to look at my dirty wheels at the moment to say that they need to be a light colour)

I have seen white wheels ruin a car before but in this case they look great

p.s. Dave yours look good too.... didnt want to you feel left out ;) lol

So then, 2-1 in favour. Better than I expected.

Maybe the results would change if you saw the latest (trial) addition. :D

Nice flaps Oz (y)

I've left my standard mudflaps on because I actually think they're quite funky and make the rear end appear lower

I'm looking forward to seeing this car again at some of the shows later this year.

I did think about the standard ones but tbh, when it comes to mudflaps/guards I'm a bit retro. Not sure she can pull it off yet so I've only fitted the rears as I managed to get them on without drilling anything. Have another set for the front but I'm waiting to see how I feel about them before I start drilling.

Couple more pics for ya: -
