Technical broken pipe - need advice (picture)

Hi folks. need some advice, about broken pipe in mk2 punto, 1.2 16v sporting.

Was taking off air box and accidentally broke little pipe off inlet manifold, which was connected to air recirculation to air feed pipe. if you will have look on picture, you will understand what i am talking about.

At this point I've screwed little screw in inlet manifold to blank it off, and blanked pipe to air feed.

How does it important, and do i have to fix ? Or leave it as it is now ? Car working fine no problem, was driving for around 10 miles, no problem.


If that has to be fixed, any idea how ? Not really want to change inlet manifold just because of that little pipe.

What you need is a thin piece of metal pipe (brake pipe) or plastic pipe
that will push in..and thenslide the other pipe over it..


glue it together with jb weld. or similar,






iwouidnt leave it as is.
