Re: Bredsticz MK2 BredMobile!

Well it is CC'ed to the car but the strips aren't..
And ive had a look under and there are clips, but i cant get them out :(

Man power dude! :p

Push them all in a bit and it'll come out. I think they do all need to be unclipped though

The clips are /' shaped. So they have a lip that secures it. Push them so the lip isn't holding it. If you get what I mean

Re: Bredsticz MK2 BredMobile!

What the hell have you attempted there

Evil eyes on the bonnet i like but it's getting the right paint colour. Don't trust anyone to mix it right and ordering the teseo blue is always different.

That's why i still have a big scrape on the rear drivers arch :(

It sucks having a discontinued paint colour doesnt it, if i could i would have chosen a different coloured car when i was looking lol
i dont trust the internet "teseo blue" colours and i bet halfords cant mix for s**t

Re: Bredsticz MK2 BredMobile!

I do have a switch on them and I would like under neons.

They are just the cheapo LEDs on eBay.

As for stole your idea? WTF? I said I wanted to do that since I got the car :p

Rear ones are tigersealed the the drum back plate,
Front ones are cable tied to the caliper, shock and track rod. All leaving enough play for turning etc

Re: Bredsticz MK2 BredMobile!

Quite simple to do really. Mount the lights as I mentioned in post above. I ran a wire from one of the rear lights all the way along where the brake lines go up into the car through the firewall.
Then a wire from the other 3 lights sliced into the one big one. Taking care not to touch the exhaust with it or trap it in the rear suspension (which I did first) :p

With all them wired onto the one big one. Inside the car I took centre console out, Wired in a fuse to the positive wire and the switch the the negative wire. Splice onto cigarette lighter power supply and done! (y)

My switch is mounted on the side panel that bolts the centre console down aswell

To avoid the exhaust. The 2nd rear wire I went up where the handbrake cable enters the car and cable tied onto there, the front one I followed the anti-roll bar.
Main wire runs up the passenger side. Took a while to do but well worth it :D
