General Breather hose Camshaft case to Airbox Broken

my hose has split
anyone know where to get a spare thats not at fiats extorsionate prices, or the diameter if the inside as i have PIRTEK just down the road, and if need be will get a meter or so of it as i can get it cut into the required length, thus supporting other panda'rers when theirs break.

They're ~£3.50 from Fiat. Sometimes pop up on eBay for less, but check cars in scrapyards as I often seen good looking ones on brkoen motors. Also remember to pull the metal gauze out of the old one and transplant it to the new one (can be removed and reinserted easily with pliers.

Yes, as this is the 'flame trap' and stops a backfire from sending flames out of the rocker cover and into the flammable plastic air filter housing! Quite important

i'll enquire at my local for availability,il measure mine tonite and post dimensions for others to benefit.
anyone tried putting those little alugauze pipercross filters on the camshaft case end of where the hose goes?
can it be fitted and then block off the entrance into the air box filter housing? or will theremoval of the hose and inclusion of the bung affect emissions?

or i will just cut the affected part of my hose out and put my "lynx special catch tank" inline instead
