Bloody hell, I haven't updated this in a long ass time!!
lets give it a quick run through..
Got myself a new Cadamuro front bumper which was already painted (abeit in the slightly wrong colour) so with swearing, cut knuckles and quite a bit of help from my fiance and her handy small hands lol.. it was on
Decided I wanted something different to the LE front lips and something not so standard looking.
Changed the dump valve to a Forge DV006 recirculating BOV as the piston in the old atmospheric BOV wasn't sealing properly, leaking and causing spikey boost. all good now but alas no more noise
Spool up improved greatly though
A photoshop someone did for me on FCCUK, its what i'm aiming for (I already have the skirts
) but the wheels wont magically be getting bigger like in the photoshop
...
Fitted a GTEC chip into the coops ECU myself, been having a few boosting issues.
The standard ECU controller is seeing too much boost, see's that the boost is too high and backs it off.
So Booked into Jabbasport (friend's dad owns the company, legendary VAG tuners) to get it on the rollers to make sure I was getting enough fuel etc before I replace the EBV with a temporary manual boost controller (will get electronic 2 stage one eventually) and try to flatten out the curve and sort the yoyo effect I'm getting between 2500 and 4000 rpm.
Its running slightly rich in places but according to the coupe club its not bad enough to be an issue or worth investigating as its better to run slightly rich than too lean.
Car made 235.3hp, not bad considering the car is nearly 10 years old!

Following £562 for a full service, Cambelt, auxillary belts and water pump change, then £300 + £60 parts to get it through its MOT with 1 advisory (hard brake lines slightly corroded) and £102 on tax for six months...
...she is now road legal for a while and I can start spending money on adding my "touches" to it like I did with my old bravobeastie. (when I earn some more ££ of course!)
Pics of my new seats, seeing as some of you wont of seen them yet:
...
After visiting my friend John in Daventry who works for Earls (main NOS distributor for the UK) and Alan Docking Racing in Silverstone I came home with an ANSA Ferrari exhaust back section for a very special price
After mucho hacking I got it cut down ready to go onto the coop
Now I had a little money to play with I got myself some mandrel bent pipe from Pipewerx sent over and some connecting pieces from Millfield Autos. Took a bit of faffing around as the standard exhaust exits out at an angle, I wanted it coming straight out the back
Following a big helping hand from my mate Tony, some cutting, welding, swearing, mountain dew  getting a piece of steel in my eye, test fitting the exhaust about 20 times to get it right and 6 hours of time (2 hours of that trying to get the ****ty powerslow box off!) we finally got it on
Some pics of the fun we had
Gay thing

Sounds lovely on idle, a bit flat four-esque... on boost it sounds like a jet afterburner
Need to tidy up the rear bumper now though lol.
...
So thats it for now, gotta get the clutch replaced now as the extra boost has caused it to slip badly (its the standard clutch fitted from new, so its 9 years old with 97k on it...not bad going really!) which is gonna sting me £450 for a standard replacement
(thinking of going for a fast road clutch tbh..
Then its skirts on, get a subtle spoiler & rear bumper lip, tints, wheels & brakes and respray time...
God this is gonna be expensive!!! LOL
