Bravo over-revving - HELP

MY BRAVO 80SX OVER REVS ALL THE TIME WHEN CHANGING GEAR. aLSO OVER-REVS WHEN OUT OF GEAR AND STATIONARY THE REVS WILL SUDDENLY SHOOT UP FROM 800RPM TO 2000.
ALSO, WHEN SLOWING DOWN IT WILL JUST STAY AT 2000 REVS AND EVENTUALLY DROP TO 800 (AFTER ABOUT 15SECS)
PLEASE HELP - HAVE HAD LAMBDA SENSOR REPLACED AND THROTTLE HOUSING CLEANED. I AM SOOOO FED UP WITH IT - FIAT RECOMMENDED THROTTLE BODY SENSOR REPLACEMENT, BUT WILL COST £450 AND STILL NO GUARANTEE WILL CURE FAULT

The same happened on my HGT anf Fiat cured it with a new throttle body. Mine was under warranty so I was lucky, but do get it done as mine nearly killed me when it jammed at 6,000rpm whilst changing down into a roundabout!

Help

I used to have problems starting from cold and stalling - It never used to over rev, but Fiat made some adjustment to increase revs - It doesn't stall anymore, but over -revs - Not sure what they adjusted ? Not too good on cars - Any ideas ?
I think my original problem is stalling and int choke problems. Should have stated in original text.
