Bravo JTD HLX 2001, black, FSH, 63k miles, 2 owners, belts changed, remapped with uprated clutch that doesn't slip, decent sounds (Alpine), climate, all electrics work - mirrors and seats, excellent condition, Good tyres, how much? they are quite rare especially in such a nice well looked after condition.
thanks, Andy

Andy what clutch have you used in your JTD? I would assume a perfect example JTD £2500.

Yeah what clutch is in it chap? as mentioned £2000-£2500 is prolly a fair price

well its a HLX... but i don't really see how much more special that makes it ;)

as Lozz said.. £2 - 2.5k

and the standard clutch doesn't slip!! done 70k on the standard with 2 different kinds or maps.. and there's no slip!!

Then again.. it must be the way I drive my car :) :) Flipping quickly!!!

well it;s cos u were greedy and went for the 170bhp map... although i had the 150bhp map.. and it came out at 105bhp on the rolling road.. then went back for a re-tune/ re-map and got 100bhp..

Not going back... cos i'll get 95bhp then!!! ;)

Have checked out Auto trader this evening and there are no JTD HLXs only 105SXs for £2600-2700 which are a bit inferieur in my opinion. So given the condition of mine and the improvements in the performance and audio depts including a stealth speaker shelf then I think I can ask a little bit more. it drives really well having the top remap and is still very economical. Will not be giving it away. just need something newer and more contemporary.

well the only thing I can see your car may have over say mine or Lozz's is heated front seats.

The 150bhp map.. has that been tested?? Rolling road or Dyno print out??

The JTD's on Auto trader have been on there for ages... not trying to detract anythign away from your car as I'd love my car to be worth £3k and im sure Lozz would too!

the only problem is.. even tho the JTD is amazing.. its a bravo and gettting old :(

If you get £2500 for it, i'd be well chuffed!

As ASH-G pointed out.. you can buy a 1.6 for under £1k now for a good example... thats a **** load of petrol for £1500 saving!!!

And as much as I'd love to say.. the JTD is faster than a 1.6.... it's not runing away!!

Good luck with the sale, I do hope you get a really good price... Please let us know how you did... just so we all have a better idea just how much our Bravo's might be worth :)
