Hello all, I'm new to the forum due to me picking up a non running Fiat Brava. The problem is the Crank pulley is not currently attached to the crank!
The car is a 1242 16v sx on x plate, it has been running with a 2000 punto 1242 16v engine for the past 16 months with no problems. The problem now is that the pulley made up of the old Brava outer and then welded to the Punto inner has failed.
Does the later 1242cc Brava engine(Camshaft sensor) 11/2000 > have a pulley that runs the PAS pump? and can I use it to get around this problem rather than re weld something that shouldn't really be welded in the first place?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
