Hi Guys,

my boot badge has condensation inside, is this a replacement jobby, or can this somehow be removed, cleaned and dried and fixed in some way?

anyone got any tips / tricks?

Seems moisture gets under the lacquer coat. I think this is a common problem. Thinking about replacing mine, but unsure how, as the badge forms part of the lock/handle mechanism.

Anyone done this and can give some DIY tips..?

Yip agree , i changed mine for abarth ones aswel, they were ,£25 each from ebay

I had the boot trim off recently. It couldn't look any easier to change the badge, remove trim by 2 bolts in the handles. Pop the clips off carefully. Unplug the cable into the back of the badge. Squeeze clips and push the badge out from the inside to the outside. Replace with new bags. Insert cable, boot trim on and redo bolts,

You biggest problem will be waiting for it to be delivered :)

I changed my badge a couple months ago to a abarth badge ,i couldnt unplug cable because mine was soldered on i had to remove the whole mech from badge but it does work and is quite easy ,the front badge i bought was from a punto as abarth dont do bravo ones , but with a little drilling work i made it fit
