Howdy all.

My bravo is up to tricks once again. This time, P2453 Diesel Particle Filter Differential Pressure Sensor problem...

has anyone had this issue before?

if so, what happened and how was it resolved?

cheers

oh, I've not got smoke on start up or whilst driving, I've still got loads of power.

To me , the car runs fine but i don't know the knock on effect of it should i leave the light stay on and if it causes any long term damage.

Two options

1. drive the car using the entire rev range a lot more often to regen
2. dpf delete and remap

No point faffing with anything else.

i have been looking at dpf removals (Well, gutting them) and a remap.

No doubt a piece of engineering thats designed to fail. I think i may also have the wrong sensor fitted, i need a 165 owner to have a look under the bonnet to see what sensor they have fitted and what the part number is.

Ive not had the car long and i don't generally spank the arse out of it, i do a lot of motor way miles in it and assumed it would regen whilst doing that

Opened the bonnet this morning and as clear as day, a split metal pipe from the DPF so new part ordered!
