bravo 1.4 IS IT JUST ME

Reading on the forum in recent months people who also own 1.4's are reporting of 110 -120 mph out of their chariots, mine wont wanna do a mile past 100mph (ish).
Its got 17"s on which undoubtedly slow it a little, but is there something wrong? or are people being a little to over enthusiastic about there fuel guzzlers.
If i can make my car go faster, i wanna know!

i have a 1.4S and i have had mine at 110 and it seemed ot max out at that speed, i had a problem a few months ago where my car would struggle to go over 80 and when it did it would touch 90 max but that is after 3 or 4 min of flooring it.

turned out my air filter was blocked with god knows what, it wasent the filter cartrage itself but the pipes leading from the induction were full of muck etc so i assume it was starveing the engine of air, once i removed/cleaned them my car was fine and faster then it had ever been, lol

not saying this is what is wrong with yours just letting u know i had a problem with max speed, but now like i said 110 is top
