brava missfire

I own a 1996 Brava 1.6SX which has recently developed a missfire. Plugs and leads have recently been changed
and after swopping them round, these are confirmed as OK. The missfire is due to no spark being produced at number 3 cylinder. Any ideas on what could be the problem.

If there is no spark on a single cyl then its very probably a dead coil pack.

I agree

my brava(1.8elx) had a misfire a couple of weeks back, due to a coil going. Cost me £60 for a diagnostic, but at least parts and labour were covered by my (almost useless) warranty!.
