Brava Key Code Light

Hi - wonder if you can help - the key code light keeps coming on and sometimes the engine wont start - any ideas?

Try cleaning the key with some electrical component degreaser and also spray the barrel. Keep doing until really clean!

The receiver is not picking up the key signal. This can also be caused by the keys being seriously bashed about as well.

As the key is read by non contact means, all this cleaning will achieve is some exercise!

Does it do it with all the keys or just one?

yes it is read by non contact means but if its covered in crap it doesnt help! I only know to do this through experience.

Hi - yes when the problem occurs it wont start with either the blue key or the red key??
Have no idea what to try next

If if gives you serious grief remove the lower panel (below steering wheel) 3 screws and check that the ring around the igition barrel is not covered in dust etc, this is you r immob. reader, worth a try i cleaned mine when mine wouldn't work never had trouble since
