CAR: Brava 1.6, 100 16v (2000 on ‘W’ reg)
Brave is intermittently not starting. I wait for all the test light to go off on the dash then try starting the car. The car engine turns but does not start.
Leave the car for few minutes and try again and it start 1st time ( not every time though!)!
Once started it purs like a kitten @ 1000rpm.
Someone suggested spraying a bit of WD40 into the HT leads at the spark plug end.
I tried this and it actually worked. Been using this method for around 6 months now.
But of recent this problem as become quite frequent. Some time it’s 2weeks before it occurs and other time it could be 6 weeks.
Any assistance/suggestions would be gratefully welcomed.
