Has anyone had the problem with the brakes locked on and the pedal to the floor? Its a 2002 multi with ABS JTD. Rac man said it might be the ABS control unit, though I have come to it today no problems at all and it is fine. Could RAC man be right, if he is how much for one of these units?
If the brakes are locked on and the pedal is staying down, it would suggest the master cylinder piston it sticking. Not a very likely scenario but as I worked for the AA for 20 years, I'd never trust anything a RAC man said.
