Recently noticed that my brake pedal has far too much travel.

This has come on since the cold spell and the ABS has been working overtime in the snowy conditions.

I have replaced the Master cylinder, bled all brakes, checked for leaks and checked the vacuum to the servo (diesel).

The only thing I can think of being faulty is the ABS pump, I have took it for a spin and there is nothing till the pedal is nearly to the floor.

The one thing I have noticed is that it doesn't seem to be braking evenly again posibly pointing to the abs unit.

Any advice welcome... :bang:

I have this since I changed the front pads and disks.
Spongey pedal that sinks far to the floor, brakes work alrightish but are not "right"
So I changed the master cylinder.
No difference...
I think (hope) it may be an air lock or a naff flexi hose.
This is a tough one. But no ABS lights have come on for me.
If you have air in one on the two brake circuits but not the other that might explain the unbalanced brakes in your case...
