Hi all new here so please be gentle. I have a P reg Punto 1.6 cabriolet with a wierd brake problem. Brakes were working perfectly. I serviced the car and noticed the front pads were a bit low so I changed them as the MOT is due. Failed the MOT on brakes, front nearside and rear offside (opposite corners) were registering virtually no effort. In nearly 30 years in the motor industry I've never come across. Could crap have blocked the master cylinder when I pushed the brake pistons back? or is there something else that could have happened?:bang:

Left car standing for 3 days, moved it into the garage today and the brakes felt instantly better. Opened the bleed nipples on the front with bleed pipes into seperate containers and what came out looked like sludge so I let it run till it was clear. did same to the rears and all seems good now, stops on a sixpence.
