Good evening all , got a 500 twinair and the brake pad warning symbol keeps coming up on the dash display . Had a good look at the brake pads and the pad indicator wires etc and they are fine .... Any ideas what could be doing this ?

Hi , thanks for the reply . I did guess that would be the next step . I'm thinking that the wiring has rubbed through somewhere causing it to earth out .

just to be safe, also check around the fluid reservoir, and check fluid level,

FIAT used to have the same light for handbrake + Low fluid, ;)

not too sure how it's done now..

Hi all , thanks for the replies . I did check the fluid and the reservoir and all is fine . I'm getting a yellow symbol on the display and it's saying check brakes . Gonna have a look at the wiring next .

Have a look at the wiring for the low fluid sensor, someone with a 500 or Panda had the wires break years ago.
