Do I take the tail light lense out to change the brake bulb or do I go from inside the car.

The taillight bulbs can be changed from outside the car by removing the 3 screws holding on the taillight lenses. The original screws had a plastic head moulded onto a metal screw (similar to a sheet-metal /self-tapping screw) and required a No. 2 point Philips screwdriver. Need to be careful when removing these screws, the plastic heads are quite delicate.

If changing the brake light bulb doesn't fix the problem, next step would be to check the brake light switch mounted above the brake pedal by bypassing it - simply bridge the 2 wires that connect to it.
And if this doesn't fix the problem, remove the tail light unit from the car ( 3 x 10mm headed nuts inside the trunk) and check for corroded/poor connections.

Thank you.when I turn the lights on ,the light is fine but when I press the brake pedal with the lights on the light goes off.

By turning on the lights, I'm assuming you mean the exterior lights e.g front sidelights, rear tail lights etc. and that pressing the brake pedal puts out the tail light on one side only?
Do the brake lights work on both sides when the exterior lights are off? If so, both brake light bulbs are ok, as is the brake light switch.
If the problem is confined to one side, then concentrate on this side tail lamp unit.
Try the turn signal on this side with the outside lights off, does the rear (red) light try to flash in sync. with the turn signal?
If it does, this is indicative of a poor ground to this lamp - try a temporary extra ground wire to the lamp or the tail/brake bulb holder (can be done with the lens removed).
Make sure that the tail/brake light bulb is correct for the car, afaik it should be a twin filament bulb of 21/5 watt (i.e. 21w for the brake light and 5w for the tail light. (compare with the bulb from the other tail lamp if this is working ok).

(I don't think your problem is caused by a short to ground, as this would cause a fuse to blow, putting some of the lights out of action.)

I will try what you have suggested.
Thank you so much.
You're welcome.
And if what I've suggested doesn't help you to solve the problem, let me know and I'll see if I can think of anything else to check.
