i have a 2006 doblo 1.3 diesel im going to renew the front brake discs and pads however when i check online i see there are different diamaters listed for my van does it make a difference to which i choose and does the pads have to match the disc diamater

Disc diameter is crucial,if you get ones that are bigger they might bottom out on the caliper, best to measure the ones you have fitted,or ring fiat and they will tell you.
The pads, depends on year of model, again check first so you dont order the wrong stuff.

Yeh I found out the hard way, there are two different types of front pads - one has a type of lug on the sides, the other is flat.
I would take them out first & check - it only takes 5 mins to do
For what they cost - may as well renew the discs as well. Easy & well worth doing.

Iirc, 1 disc but a choice of 2 pads for the 1.9jtd
