Anyone know where I can get a new backing plate for the left side rear disc of a Stilo 1.4, 2006? Mine has corroded badly and has big holes along the top edge.

It's worth having a punt around anyone breaking a Stilo, since nobody really wants these (they rarely wear out as such... just tend to fall off eventually) and if someone wants a disc or a hub, then this item probably gets dismantled and then thrown out.
Otherwise you can tap up the local Fiat dealer. Some Stilo parts still exist in the dealer network so if you're friendly with your parts man you can haggle for a discount. They may not be too dear "new".

Thanks Ralf. There are plenty of aftermarket items for lots of other cars (Punto for example) but searching drew a blank for the Stilo. Might do as you suggest and phone the dealer.
