General Bought a new 'un!!

Well, I've finally managed to find the right one
Yellow, 2000 X reg, 43750 miles, bought new by it's retired owner from DTR, full service history from the same garage from new including cambelt change at 40000 and today just had new cluch because of noisy thrust bearing Even the original Fiat hood is still in good condition!! Very well looked after as you can imagine considering all the above Will post piccies when I bring it home on Friday and after it is shod with shiny new alloys as it is on steel wheels at the moment but not for long:slayer:

How much are you going to put it up 4 ?

Difficult one, to be honest I'm not so sure.
New clutch, 4 new tyres on Fiat alloys, rebuilt head with all 16 valves replaced and new belts, new mohair hood but it needs a respray really. It would be quite possible to fix the areas that need doing without a full respray but if I was keeping it then it would have it all done. 110.000 miles so I think it is one of those that on a good day could get a good price, it stands me at £2300 but I think it will go sub £2000

You will never make money on a B at the mo. Maybe in a few years but now its all bargin prices.

I'm actually not too bothered about what I get for it, it will just offset the cost of me new 'un

Well I've got it/her/she home Actually, went straight to Motorsportwheels in Stockport and had my new OZ 17" Hydra whhels fitted, what a difference over the Fiat steel wheels Must be an optical illusion but even though they have the same rolling circumference as the original 15" wheels, it makes the gap between the tyre and wheelarch appear bigger Now I will have to invest in adjustable coilovers:slayer: Will post ppics when I have had it valeted on Monday.
