General Bought a marea

Am rather pleased with myself. Have just bought an R reg Marea weekend
2.0 20v in silver/blue with 81k miles. All drive belts are replaced.

It is a damage repairable Cat C. It has a very slight dent in the rear quarter panel and the side bumper section is bent.

Should be an easy repair as the bumper section is just a bolt on piece and the dent will pull. possibly a bit of filler. Will take me a couple of days Otherwise the car is very tidy.

But then again my local scrappy has just received a 1998 Marea weekend 1.9TD 75 SX. But they won't sell it to me even though it's totally intact ?
