Boot neons

if i wire my boot neons up to the oigional boot light will it turn on and of when the boot is open/closed?

i dont see why not!but you may want to wire them up to the switch and use a different power source rather than running them straight off the boot light, deppends how many your thinkin of fitting!? just a thought.

Use a relay

I presume you have an amp in your boot, if so, run the power from there into a relay, use the boot light to give the input signal (switch). Obviously putting the output from the relay to your neons...

its just a single neon

hmm just tried them off the boot lights but the neons wont light up, however the power supply is reading 12v, i have tested the neon straigh of the battery and the neon works and ideas?

its ok i got it now, i blew the fuse for the boot light and the central locking lol

but i will need some help trying to get my boot install to work
