Boot lifters

If i were to put 4 6x9's in my parcel shelf, would the boot lifters still be strong enough to lift the boot up or not?

Can you buy stronger ones?

Also has anyone ever fitted the bonnet lifters?

As for the boot, on my 97 Brava it comes crashing down on your head if parked on an incline so god forbid if there were speakers on the shelf !

there isn't any lifters available. you just have to make ones made for other cars fit
I fitted some that were originally for a golf to my punto which worked fine and was so cool to let go and listen to the "wooooooosh" noise
tried to fit them to my bravo when I got it but the rubbed on the inside of the wings which was a shame

Sorry i havent said this right, the standard black strut thingys that hold the boot open, sorry not aftermarket ones or anything.

mine are holding up a mdf parcel shelf with 2 16.5cm speakers and a 12inch sub

i think they can handle tiny little 6X9's lol
