hi
building a boot install in my tipo
have most of the MDF done and hopeing to start to fiber glass it all


building 2 pods for 2X 12"

but was wondering if anyone had some tips for sound proofing the boot

have been told to use that foam spray stuff that goes really hard but are there any better ideas

i will be taking pictures to show u lot along the way as its comeing along well

any help will be apreciated

No the spray stuffs rubbish, you'd be much better off with some Dynamat or Brownbread.
Try your local audio shop their bound to have one or the other.
Make sure you cover the boot floor, boot lid and boot side walls (espicially around the rea wheels!).

If you are Ofay with expanding foam fill ya tail gate -- dont use too much as you can split the seams --- it will kill the tailgate DEAD -- the spray deadning is OK if appied in 100% conditions

Dynamat is the best but it also the mosr £££££ as it's imported from the USA ;)
