General Bonnet lining blocking intake

Hi,

Think this has been mentioned on the forum before but thought I would post anyway. I have a Fiat Bravo HGT and found it was lacking power.

If you are using the standard air intake on your bravo's, brava's etc, make sure the bonnet lining is not starting to sag at the front. Noticed that mine was sagging and getting sucked into the intake causing lack of power problems.

i remember this did come up once before. we spent weeks trying to figure it out until the owner got lucky and noticed the sagging bonner liner. its a silly design really.

Checked mine after reading this post and it was covering the intake, would this cause the car to over fuel as my fuel bill bit getting stupid??

it shouldn't overfuel, just suffer powerloss.
