Technical Bonnet Lifters

Hi, if I remember correctly, they need to be between 44 and 46cm to function properly on the Bravo.

These are the ones I used and they are spot on..................

same ones I got, I must get my arse in gear and fit em !!

Got arse in gear and fitted said lifters

A word of caution, if you drop a spring clip from the ram good luck finding it again !!! :bang:

Finally got mine fitted fully though, they are not as fierce as I expected, but I do notice that the corners of the bonnet are now standing slightly proud - ah well improved under bonnet cooling anyone ?

Hopefully as the rams settle down with use they will mellow and not lift the corners so much.

Be careful of this mod. IMO the lifters are too powerful for the fixing points long term.

I tried a set on mine. I agree - too strong for the fixing, so I took them off.

i bought them and started to fit them but came to the same conclusion

they are too powerful and the fixing points not strong enough IMO

i had visions of the bonnet flying open at speed so they are in the garage still in box
£10 plus post if you want them?...

i agree,
i too purchasaed a set and found them to flex the wings before allowing the bonnet to close,far too strong for the suggested mounts

They were good for me chaps, Jack21 has my old Bravo now, perhaps he can comment on how they're holding out..................

Mine have now calmed down, they still lift and hold the bonnet but either the car is stronger or they have weakened (think Bella has been working out )
