hi quick question before i start anything i might regret,
im going to be fitting a new whole exhaust to my 1.6 had car jacked up and have tryed for the life of me to remove front exhaust section from catalytic convertor but the nuts are rusted solid, i presume they were a 13mm but my 13mm had play and a 12mm is too small, so im wondering if their just bolts and nuts and i can get away with sawing off the old nuts and the pushing out bolts and replacing with new or are they threaded on the manifold side? last thing id like to do is to cut the nuts off and have to buy a new catalytic as well
hope that makes sense please help... looking to crack on tonight once kids are a bed cheers
