hello

i have a fiat punto mk2 1999 model, i have a vibe cbr subwoofer and wanted to bolt it down to the cars metal for security reasons (my last one got stolen)

has anyone done this on a punto? and what can you guys recommend?

thanks

tough call really,

the most simple way of doing it would be to get some L shape brackets and screw them to the side of the sub's box at floor level. then drill through the floor and bolt the L shape brackets to the floor.
best way i would have thought?

shame to drill holes though. do you have any anchoring points in a punto?
could use steel rope and U bolt it to those?

i know when i had one, i just used a ratchet strap to stop it moving around in the boot of my cinquecento.

thanks for your reply, i was actually thinking the same thing, dont mind having holes in the boot.

theres no anchoring points, i do have an idea how to bolt and working on it now

my last resort would of been to take out the sub speaker and drill holes inside down to cars metal and bolt it that way then replace the speaker in the sub box
