Went to Alton towers today and whilst in the queue, one of the bolts snapped/disintegrated/exploded causing part of the track to separate.
No one was injured but for us outside it did go with a huge noise and definitely put a few people off.
Staff said it was 'not track related' but we could clearly see engineers working on it.
