Body Colour Trim

My Bravo will need a bit of body work after xmas to remove the many dents left from people swinging doors into it. Anyway, as wings and doors will be painted im thinking about painting the black trim on the bumpers and doors and also the door handles. Has anyone done this or have a pic (in heraldic blue preferably!) of it done? I think it would look very good.

I read a couple of posts about peeling paint on bumpers and am wondering if i paint these parts will the paint definitely peel or willit be ok if the plastic is properly treated to allow paint adhesion?

some 1 on here done it a while back soz cant remember who tho looked good tho

I think it was (grey with Kosei racers) done tints at the same time

here's a good example of one...

Trim line

when i had my rear bumper repaired, i had the black trim line colour coded and did not like it. it looks better with the black line around the car.

this is only what i think

Re: Trim line

i agree with tafi, i like a bit of contrast

Re: Re: Trim line

I really like mine, i colour coded the sides but left the line round the back bumper and front bumper black. In my opinion a bit of contrast looks better.

Much as I dislike modified cars, that one actually looks very good.

I think it would have looked better still if the rubbing strips were left unpainted.
