Hi i'm thinkin about gettin the Bmc cda induction kit but b4 i do can ne 1 tell me if it actually makes ne difference in performance or no?

It will improve performance, difficult to say by how much. Usually 3-5 bhp is about average for a good induction kit. I have the BMC CDA fitted to my HGT and it sounds great. It was already on when I bought the car. I'm not totally convinced I would have bought one if it wasn't fitted though.

It's for the 2.0 but I have an adaptor to make it fit the 1.8. It's not intended for any engine capacity below the 1.8 tho.

has anyone seen the new BMC kit called the DAI or DIA i think!?
its about the same as the carbon one just not made of carbon!!!!! which means its about 50 pound cheaper!!! im thinking about getting one now!

if your not bothered about the carbon then halfords do a cheapie one that looks like it would do the job!

i know but at least i know that the BMC ones work!!! the only difference is that its not carbon, rather sprend a bit more on something that might help my hgt go a bit quicker!

I've got a BMC CDA Panel-Filter in my Bora TDI - It made a huge difference.. it also made it smoke a lot more, lol !
