BMC Carbon box

my mate has just been to get the BMC induction kit fitted to his HGT - The garage couldnt fit it because they said the supplier had sent the wrong size Carbon box for his car. They said it was too big and wouldnt fit. I told him i was under the impression that the carbon boxes only came in 2 sizes, up to 1.6 and up to 2.5 therefore his should be the biggest size anyway. Can anyone tell me if i am right and how come the garage said it wouldnt fit down the side. Ansers on a postcard please or if you dont have a postcard handy a reply on the forum will suffice.

Did they remove all the original air box? Including the lower box that has to be taken out through the wheel arch?

Remove passenger side wheel, remove wheel arch liner, unbolt airbox and remove it through the wheelarch.

The BMC only adds 4BHP to an HGT.
