This is my first post on the forum and appologies if this question has already bee done before. I have owned my Black 100HP since mid-Feb and love it. However, I would like to ask advice about one thing.

I have paired my mobile (a Nokia) to the car which works but the volume is always very low when I receive or make a call. I can make the volume louder with the steering wheel buttons but the next time I use the car the mobile volume is back down again. How do I set the phone volume in the car to a sensible default volume setting?

Thanks for any advice.

I have put up with the low volume since last october! Just turned it up all the way before answering the call. Now i know what will solve that i will change it as soon as i'm next in the car. Thanks! (y)

The person I'm on the phone to reports "they can hardly hear me!"

Can this be altered somehow?:bang:

you probably have a dud microphone like the rest of us that bought 100hp's recently - and it seems to affect some 500's as well judging by posts there. There have been similar posts by others and a trip to dealer for a warranty repair seemed to resolve.

You've probably figured this out already, but i found something else when i did the same in my car.

You may have noticed that when you turn the 'external audio volume' up so that the phone is louder, the 'beep' noise the car makes when your phone is recognised also gets louder. In my car, the beep was way too loud and frightened the life out of any passengers!

If this is the case, make sure the bluetooth volume on your phone handset during a call is turned up to the max. (if your particular phone has this capability)

This enabled me to be able to turn the beep/ringer volume down, but the 'in call' volume was high

I have Nokia 3109 Classic - very basic 'phone, I take photos with a camera - and volume is no problem without altering any settings - even my mother can hear me (and I can certainly hear her but I probably could without a 'phone).
