I recently got given a 2010 Fiat 500 Sport model as my first car, and it's running great. I've not really had any issues with it, except my call audio seems extremely glitchy, but I want to know how to update the Blue&Me system. I've read multiple threads that you can't update them too much at once, and I know the website is no longer up, but if someone is able to help that'd be great. I have access to everything (pc, usb stick etc), and it seems my module is a second generation as I can find the IMAGE ID in the advanced settings. If anyone can provide me with some proper guidance on how to update it, that'd be much appreciated!!!!

(ps, I have an android phone, and I don't have any connection or usb issues)

You're fortunate that it's even working at all on a 2010 car. Many of these have failed by now.

Be careful. Applying the wrong update to earlier cars can brick the Blue&Me module.

My 2010 500 would only accept updates to a certain point. If you downloaded the software from the official site back then, it checked for compatibility, and came with a warning that forcing a later update could cause irreversible damage.

The official website disappeared years ago; IIRC the reason given was that it ran on Adobe flash player, which has long since been deprecated, is unsupported, and risky to install on a modern PC.

On a LHD the B&M unit is behind the dash on the right and AFAIK rarely fails.
I updatet my 2011 because the Telephone switch worked intermittent. Turned out to be a bad wrapjob by the previous owner. In reality updating changed nothing I could notice.

Idk why my region has been set like this, because I'm in the UK. Either way, I managed to get it done by downloading the files via the internet archive and updating the car. Worked almost flawlessly and there's barely any issues with it. I kinda forgot about this post and just remembered I should probably come back and update myself. The most annoying issue is that my phone calls sound really glitchy when my audio is too loud, which is fine, but then the other person on the phone can't hear what I'm saying at all. I've been told that I might be able to fix this by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery
