Blue & Me Noob Question

Hi,

I haven't used Blue & Me in my 100HP yet as my phone isn't compatable, but I will probably be changing my stereo before I get a new phone. As I know hardly anything about Blue & Me or how it works, I thought I'd better ask:

If I change my head unit, will Blue & Me still work in my car? Does it work "through" the stereo or some other part of the car? I ask because the bluetooth controls on my steering wheel can be usede to adjust station preset selection and volume on the stereo.

Hi. The 100hp doesn't actually have 'Blue&Me'... that system is only avaliable on the 500 and GP. In the Panda it's a slightly different system without the iPod compatibility or SMS reader functions of 'B&M'.

Aside from this observation I can't actually answer your question as to whether or not the bluetooth is part of the head unit or not. When my 100hp eventually shows up, I'll be experimenting to find out!!:idea:

Thanks for that, Joe! I'll be getting a new phone in May so will have to wait until then to see if it works with the new head unit, if I replace it by then...
