I just bought a '51' plate auto Punto and I would like to install some Blue LED's in to the door pockets of the car.

I am really uncertain where to begin.

I saw these Maplin (w w w.maplin.co.uk/3mm-recessed-panel-indicator-leds-and-bezels-35951?ordercode=N72AX)

What would I need to complete the install??

1) Blue Led and holder (Like the above link)
2) In-Line fuse
3) Anything else?

Many thanks for you help. :)

Probably won't even need an extra fuse if you run the supply from somewhere like the cig lighter as it already has a fuse. A switch would be useful, too.

Those particular LED's are 2v, car supply is 12v so will bust them. I'm sure there is some way to step the voltage down but it's out of my area of knowledge. The other option would be to get something like these which will run directly off 12v, and then you just need to wire them in with a switch.

You need a transformer type box. drop me a pm i can get that 3m led strip stuff that you cut to length and is self adhesive. the proper kits come with a transformer and remote control. this is something i am planing ti do to my car next weekend if we can sort the ice nigles in good time.

Thanks for your advise.
They are certainly one option I will be considering from Halfords.
