500 Blue and me

I have had my 500 for a few years and have enjoyed the blue and me feature, until recently. The display on the radio just reads PHONE now and will not play the radio and I have lost any use of the hands free phone. Does anybody have any idea what may have happened?

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

I'm not an expert on B+M, but there are many things in a 500 that are computerised, and often with a computer you need to switch it off and re-start it.

My advice is to disconnect the battery, and go and have a cuppa. Leave it disconnected for half an hour or so, then reconnect. You'll have to reset the date and time.

Hopefully, your defects will have cleared. There are many weird things happening in the system and usually they clear themselves after battery disconnection. I've even had to do this with my mobile phone.
