Just got my new Sporting M-Jet on Wednesday. Trying to get the toys to work but having some trouble with the blue and me.

I can get my C905 to connect to the car but when I press the buttons on the steering wheel to do anything it says "looking for connection, try again later" and nothing works.

The bluetooth on my phone has never been great so I dont know if it is Sony Ericsson's fault or if an update (phone or car) is required.

Had the phone for a year so it was one of the earlier ones produced.

Anyone had similar or know how to fix it?

Any help appreciated

Cheers

Hi mate, i too had many problems when i first got my C905, both with my previous Fiat GP and my new Abarth GP. I sort of gave up getting it to work properly but one day decided to update the firmware on my phone over WiFi (this way you lose no settings or information as opposed to upgrading via usb cable)

The results were brilliant and im now on o2 running the firmware R1FA035.

I can comfirm that the phone and bluetooth now work flawlessly, from making and recieving phonecalls to voice dialing and reading text messages out.

The only minor fault i had was when first pairing your phone it will seem like it takes ages to transfer contacts but after 10 minutes or so turn the engine off and on again and when the phone pairs, all your contacts will appear immediately in the phonebook of blue&me.

Hope this helps.

Chris

I added the SE patch the Fiat provide and after about 20 attempts at pairing, the phone now works fine when making and receiving calls and the phonebook uploaded no problem.

The text reader doesnt work tho.

I downloaded the latest SE software as well so havent a club what the problem is.
