Hi all,
Just need some advice if possible please?
While putting the swirl gasket on my EGR I caught the spanner on the Glow Plug Control Unit (a few sparks) and then nothing.
Immediately, turned on the engine, initial start up check ok, then the dreaded 'Check Glow Plugs' message came up. Had a look at the Glow Plug fuse in the battery fuse box and it was blown...no surprise.
Couple of questions:
1) I am right in my assumption (if it starts) that it's fine to drive as the GPs are only used at start up?
2) Is the Glow Plug fuse easy to fit and are they readily available from Fiat dealers?
I may have shorted the controller and/or glow plugs but the fuse is the best place to start.
Thanks for any advice.
