I have a 1997 bravo 1.4 12v
I have just blown the engine up, the cost of repairing the engine will be LARGE.
I was wondering if any one had done or had any information about putting a new engine into the car e.g. a 16. 16v or a 1.2 16 v bravo engine, I need to know if it will be a simple swap or if it will take a large amount of engine bay modifications.

Not simple, almost everything has to change as the fuel system for the 1.4 is different to all the others.

Tried looking for a second hand engine?

I will get you an engine fo £150, and fit it for £100.
Do u live near NE Scotland.

Not really i live near newcastle.
What sort of nick is the engine in e.g. miles?

its a 1.4 12v, i couldent get anyother size that cheap though. Good order about 50.000 miles or less on it.

I will talk to my mechanic within the next couple of day and post again to see if you still have it.
Cheers

I have a full 1.6 running gear for sale
and you will also need all the below
