General Blower heater fan fitting

Hello All
I have a Punto Mk1 60S 1.2 heater blower fan with seized lower bearing I am going to replace.

Can anyone please let me know if a fan from a 1997/98 Mk1 SPORTING PUNTO would be compatible to fit, just wondered if these parts are all the same on Punto Mk1's

i think all interior fans are same

I agree, they're probably all the same but note that the early Mk1 Sportings had a different (1.6) engine to your 1.2 FIRE. So there may be differences.

The later sportings had the 1.2 16V so they're bound to be compatible I'd say.

I will put up a pic of my 99 Cabrio fan motor tomorrow if you want, I have it all out at the moment to replace the heater matrix, hopefully will give you some idea.
